DYR eZINE November Edition

Letter from the Editor: Welcome to the DYR eZine -

gratitude: \gra-tə-tüd, -tyüd\: noun: the state of being grateful thanksgiving: \thaŋ(k)s-gi-viŋ, also thaŋ(k)s-\: noun: 1: the act of giving thanks 2: a prayer expressing gratitude 3: a public acknowledgment or celebration of divine goodness

Our inaugural DYR eZine comes at the most opportune time: the beginning of the Season of Thanks! As we all know, it begins with Thanksgiving Day, followed by Chanukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa and ending with the New Year's Celebration. No matter which holiday you subscribe to, your eager hustle might often create this season to be as stressful as it is a blessing. As we hurry along and prepare for the celebrations and parties, the purchasing of gifts, the taking time off work and the traveling of many miles and hours to see the loved ones, I'm sure I'm not alone when I say this, the real reason for the season, to be "thankful" for what we have, can get lost in our shuffle to please everyone around us. And our misfortunate oversight can actually block us from receiving what the universe is trying to give us, whether we are aware of it or not.

So I'd like to remind everyone to stop everything you are doing at least once a day (but finish this eZine first!), and calm down (not slow down) for five minutes and say "Thank You" to the universe for everything you have in your life. Focus on yourself and examine all six areas of your life: spiritually, emotionally, relationally, physically, vocationally and financially. BE GRATEFUL for what you have RECEIVED and what the universe has allowed you to GIVE to others. Taking the time to acknowledge what you have allows you to be able to vibrate with true GRATITUDE and thus allow you to abundantly receive in return.

Increasing your awareness of your gratitude can help reduce stress and increase your focus on what matters in your life. You have enough on your plate during this season, especially dealing with your loved ones and their self-inflicted stress! Keeping gratitude on the forefront of your mind allows you to create your environment, not be controlled by it.

I thank you for reading this eZine and everyone that has believed in us so far. Whether you've found us through fitness, coaching or a seminar, or are just a good friend and supporter of our cause to change thousands of lives through intimate service and accountability, I know I speak on behalf of the team at define when I say: "Thank You" for allowing define to be a positive active force in your life.

In gratitude,

Steve Froehlich
